Auspicious Pig is a battery operated pig toy made by ChuangFa Toys.

Appearance[edit]

The toy resembles a round sphere-shaped pig that can be either pink or yellow. It has red ears and hooves, a red nose with pink nostrils, blue eyes, and a white and red tuft of fur on its head.

Colours[edit]

The toy can come in an assortment of colours, here are all the versions that are known:

  • Pink with a red nose
  • Orange with a red nose
  • Red with an orange nose
  • Green with a red nose
  • Green with a yellow nose

Functions[edit]

When turned on, the toy moves around with bump and go action while its nose lights up. Its legs move front and back, its ears and eyelids move up and down, and its eyes move left and right. The toy plays "Gong Xi", a Chinese New Year song.

Trivia[edit]

  • On the toy's box you can see an Auspicious Pig with black hooves, a green nose with black nostrils, purple ears, and a red tuft of fur. This version could be a prototype.
  • The toy was also released under the name "Get Lucky Piglet".
  • The toy was re-released by an unknown company under the name "Naughty Porkling". This replica has different colors and ears.
  • There’s an elephant version that is very similar to Naughty Porkling under the name “Naughty Elephant”.
