"Funny Car King Is Dead Yes" -Shenien, 2023

Cartoon Car is a chinafake toy made by Son Ai Toys around the early 80s, as well as other chinafakes made by Son Ai Toys, such as Regulus Car and Star Cruiser.

Appearance[edit]

The toy depicts Santa sat in a car. The car is white with various pieces of translucent coloured plastic, and varied stickers. The Santa figure has a large bushy beard and a hat with a green pompom on it.

Cartoon Car can also be found in a bear variant, which wears a suit and tie and the fur colour is orange and white, which can have either flashing eyes or decal eyes.

There are many variants of Cartoon Car, but is more commonly found in the roadster form, or single front headlight form, the roadster is believed to be based on a 1930s Mercedes-Benz roadster.

Functions[edit]

The bear variant of Cartoon Car has a basic pulsing siren as the car drives around with bump and go action as the arms and hands pivot with the steering wheel, whereas the santa variant drives around with bump and go action while it plays chiptune versions of christmas carols with the same mechanical action as the bear variant.
