Appearance[edit]
the unit comes in 2 variations, NO.3838 (the only copy properly archived by DoraemonAustralia) and NO.610 (not archived yet). It also has different colours. The colours are Camo yellow, Camo green and light blue. All tanks have a movable turret head, has the speaker on the top and the same bottom.
NO.3838 Appearance[edit]
NO.3838 is a Yellow/Green/Blue tank that has a big dome on the turret. The antenna can be seen in the corner and has slight details, the rockets on the right side of the tank, the old-styled lights on the front (which don't light up), the details of shapes on the sides of the tank and others.
NO.610 Appearance[edit]
Its overall shape looks the same but with a number on the side of the turret that is “610” (in which it is refrencing the item number), an extra gun on the top, the antenna being replaced by a light that glows and a few more miscellaneous details.
Function[edit]
when turned on with the switch, it moves with bump and go action. Lights flash on the rocket part of the turret and the dome. NO.610 has lights flashing on the gun on the side and the plastic dome on the corner will light up. Older versions of 610 have an army men sometimes peeking out of the tank door. It plays a variation of compilations of generic war and explosion sound effects.
Trivia[edit]
- A similar, larger version of this toy exists, named Model Super Tank.
- The blue version is not seen anywhere on the box, so it is by far the rarest variant.
- it would double the rarity since younger audiences would most likely buy the one with most features (of which it is NO.610).
- NO. 610 seems to be missing in usual places of where they sell them, according to DoraemonAustralia of experiencing their unit sales in Cabramatta.
- the speaker can be seen on the opening door/vault on the turret, which is highly interesting since other toys tend to put the speaker on the bottom.
