Apperance[edit]

The toy resembles a Volkswagen Beetle. It can come in yellow, red, white or black. It has the number 25 painted on the hood and doors, and it says "CONTEST" with some small text below the back window and on the top right of the hood. ExPress Train versions have the addition of a black and white checkered pattern and no small text. The small text on the normal variants reads: "

CONTEST

The speed of the extreme limit.

perfect performance.

"

Functions[edit]

When the switch is turned to the "on" position, the toy moves around with bump and go action while it plays music and the headlights and two lights in the trunk of the car flash. Occasionally, the toy elevates itself on a pair of stilts stored inside the toy and its doors and hood open and close whilst it shakes its front wheels. After a few seconds the doors, hood, and wheels stop moving and the stilts collapse back inside of the toy as it begins moving around again.

Trivia[edit]

  • Some variants have clear wheels which can also flash.
  • There's another variant called ExPress Train with a different box and decals.
    • Its box was later re-used for the Dance Spinit box.
      • On one of the sides of the box you can still see the "ExPress Train" text behind the box's normal text.
  • The toy is a knockoff of Herbie. In fact, the illustration on the windowed box is a modified render from a DVD cover.
  • There are Russian and Japanese re-release versions which play unknown songs.
    • However, these variants can also play Primetime (though it is unknown if they can play any other songs that non-rerelease versions play).
  • Some ExPress Trains can play the cover of Calcutta by Dr. Calcutta.
  • This toy has the most known distributors/importers out of all Wen Sheng products.
  • An Italian release of the toy exists, it has a see-through box and is titled "Lady Bug".
