The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Skate
INCLUDES TARDIS TALKING MONEY BANK |
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Skate is a bootleg bump and go toy made by an unknown company
Appearance[edit]
It is a large figurine of Spider-Man/Peter Parker standing on a chunky blue and red skateboard. The skateboard has blue and red wheels. The sides of the skateboard say "Skate Let Us Go Skateboarding" or "Speed". The top of the skateboard is a limo tinted translucent black which allows colorful flights to shine through. Spidey stands around 5 inches tall, and he is holding his right arm up and his hand is in a fist, while his left arm is downwards and his hand is in a web slinging pose. He has silver eyes. Spidey is detachable from the skateboard, but due to the grooves on his feet for the skateboard, he does not stand up very well without it, and he has no articulation.
Functions[edit]
The toy has bump and go action. When you put the toy on the ground, it spins around doing various tricks and stunts. The top of the skateboard has a 3D firework like light effect, and the toy plays "Outro Lex".
Trivia[edit]
- Despite the toy being based off "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", the box has a Tobey Maguire Spider-Man render from Spider-Man 3 (the movie has the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man, not the Tobey Maguire one), and the Spider-Man figure's suit has the black suit logo from "Spider-Man 3"
- The box design is extremely similar to the one for Amazing Spider-Man 2 Motorcycle, in fact, it even has the same text and the Spider-Man figures are both very similar. It is very possible that both toys were made by the same company.
- The toy is owned by Zabuza100, and he posted it on r/amazingmemes. It got over 300 upvotes.
- Talking Tom, Sofia The First, soccer player, Minions, PAW Patrol, Doraemon and Frozen versions also exist
