Top Public Bus is the name given to a Chinafake bump and go bus manufactured by Liang Feng Toys.

Appearance[edit]

The main unit is depicting a typical, generic (unsure) early 2000’s city bus, that can come in either yellow, red, silver or blue. Its headlights and backlights are in red and chrome parts are on the static vents and the bumper. Inside is about 6 people with 2 people on the front. The bus depicted on the box moves the placement on the people for unknown reasons. A television inside of the bus is displaying desert imagery. A ticket manager is on the middle of the row of seats. Yellow is the most common variant, along with red, while silver and blue are the rarest. Silver is the only variant to not have any sort of video or image yet.

Function[edit]

When the unit is turned on, it will move around with bump and go action. It’s lights flash on the headlights and the rearlights, the television will light up and scroll its image. The ticket manager moves left and right, depicting the ticket manager collecting tickets. Its soundchip plays Sha La La by Solid Base. Other versions play unknown Indian music. Other versions can also play Barbie Girl by Aqua.

Trivia[edit]

  • A blue version was found, but it was the version that had friction movement. It may be just recycled stock.
    • The blue friction version was also found the same time as an existing video of Super Racing Car, to be put in easier context, the bus was in the video as well.
  • It was believed that it was restocked, as there are more videos that are from late 2010 than the ones from early.
  • The EPToys listing from where the photos of said toy were is dated 2007.
  • The toy seems to be very popular among Vietnamese countries, as it's quite hard to find one in English speaking states.
  • The ”New Edition” name was found on a windowed box of the red version from EPToys.
  • Other variants have stickers that are in Indian/Vietnamese language.
  • It is presumed that the reason of Barbie Girl being used in the toy is because of the fact that it may either be a later model or it may be a different release that might have the connection of it being “restocked”.
